Meet the Team

Jenny Berry, MSN, ANP-BC, is the owner of Joli Medispa, a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, and an Advanced Aesthetic Injector. She completed her undergraduate degree in Nursing from Ole Miss and her master’s degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Before becoming a nurse, she ran phase-1, first-in-human clinical trials at MD Anderson Cancer Center. As such, research and science are the backbone of cosmetic techniques available only at Joli Medispa.

Before opening Joli Medispa, Jenny has been doing aesthetics and injectables for over 11 years for her friends and family. However, she realized that patients in Covington, LA, often went to doctor’s offices for aesthetic treatments. She believes patients should visit specialists who perform aesthetic treatments all day, every day, rather than in between medical patients. With that belief, she opened Joli Medispa to provide a safe space for patients to pursue innovative, results-driven, and science-backed aesthetic procedures in a relaxed atmosphere.

Jenny has won the award for Northshore’s Best Nurse Practitioner for 2 years in a row, and her medical spa, Joli Medispa, has won the Best Botox & Filler & Best Medispa awards for 3 years in a row.

Ashley is a passionate traveler who enjoys exploring tropical destinations and soaking up the sun! She has a great sense of style and loves to keep up with the latest fashion trends. Family is incredibly important to Ashley, and she adores her husband and son. Pink is her favorite color, which reflects her vibrant and upbeat personality. Professionally, Ashley has a wealth of experience in plastics and aesthetics, having worked in the industry for 16 years. Ashley earned her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2008. She returned to SELU to earn a second Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing in 2020 and experienced the challenging, yet rewarding, task of being a front-line ICU Nurse during the pandemic. She then returned to her roots in the aesthetic industry, where her true passion lies.

Crystal Alack is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with 11 years of experience. Since 2016, she has focused on bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, aiming to enhance women’s health and well-being. Additionally, she has offered aesthetic services for over 5 years and specializes in hormone regulation using plant-based testosterone pellets for male clients. Crystal earned her RN-BSN from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2004 and completed her MSN as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at the University of South Alabama in 2012.

Beyond her professional life, Crystal is happily married with two teenagers and resides in her hometown of Loranger, LA. In her leisure time, she enjoys relaxing at home with her family, including their diverse mix of fur babies, and supporting her kids in their activities. Passionate about hormone replacement therapy, Crystal is dedicated to providing balance and optimizing well-being for her clients. Her goal is to help clients both feel and look their best inside and out, combining her expertise with a fun and spunky personality that clients appreciate.

Emily is a dynamic marketing professional with a degree in Marketing from Southeastern Louisiana University. As a highly skilled Patient Care Coordinator at Joli Medispa since 2018, Emily has been instrumental in providing exceptional care to patients and ensuring smooth operations of the clinic. With a keen eye for beauty and fashion trends, Emily effortlessly combines her marketing expertise with her passion for aesthetics, creating captivating marketing campaigns that resonate with patients and drive business growth. Outside of her professional role, Emily has an immense passion for traveling and experiencing new adventures. Emily is a social butterfly and loves a party, bringing her vibrant personality and energy to any social gathering. She cherishes spending quality time with her sexy husband, two grown boys, and her kitty, Smooshy. Emily continues to make a positive impact in the beauty industry and beyond, leaving a lasting impression wherever she goes.

Becky is a theater enthusiast and lover of the arts, with a vibrant personality that matches her signature purple hair. She cherishes the bond she shares with her loving husband and precious daughter, and loves spending quality time with their furry companions. Becky has an adventurous spirit and a love for international travel. Her wanderlust and curiosity drive her to seek out new experiences and appreciate the beauty and diversity of the world. With her artistic flair, colorful outlook on life, and a heart full of love for her family and furry friends, Becky continues to embrace her passions and live life with a sense of wonder and creativity, making her a truly unique and dynamic individual.

Dixie is an imaginative soul with a passion for all things eclectic and creative. With her degree in Film from the University of New Orleans, Dixie draws inspiration from the beauty of nature, history, and culture to inspire her everyday life. Her love for cats is only matched by her affinity for pink hair, and you’ll often find her exploring historic places and indulging in all things Halloween. She has a keen eye for timeless, eclectic design, and she believes that aesthetics play a crucial role in shaping our experiences. Whether it’s through film, travel, or design, Dixie is a multi-dimensional creative force and strives to capture and create moments that inspire and captivate.

Melissa Leblanc is the Licensed Esthetician at Joli Medispa. Hailing from a small town in Louisiana called Pineville, Melissa eventually moved to the Northshore, where she carved a name for herself as one of the region’s best estheticians. Her commitment to skincare started years ago when she started producing her own soap to cater to her sensitive skin. She eventually left healthcare to provide aesthetic care in a fun and vibrant setting, and that’s what brought her to Joli Medispa! Melissa has officially been named Northshore’s Best Esthetician and Northshore’s Best Hair Removal Specialist in 2019 and 2020.

Dr. Jack “Jay” Saux III is the renowned “Pirate Oncologist” of St. Tammany Parish. He loves to dress up in swashbuckling attire as he goes about his day of caring for his patients and helping everyone deal with the heaviness of a cancer diagnosis. His many patients love and adore him. He graduated from Jesuit High School and then received his undergraduate degree in biological sciences from the University of New Orleans. He attended LSU Medical School in New Orleans and completed his residency in internal medicine at Earl K. Long Hospital in Baton Rouge. He began private practice in Napoleonville, LA, as an internist and taught at the Leonard J. Chabert Hospital in Houma. He returned to New Orleans to complete a fellowship in oncology at Tulane University Medical Center in 1998. He currently works at the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center at St. Tammany Hospital in Covington, where he cares for patients with many different types of oncologic and hematologic illnesses.
